Happy July Fourth.

most of the fourth of July:

was spending quality time with my family hiking MOUNT OLYMPUS:

we started around 7:00 and got home around 2:30. we were able to stay up on top and enjoy lunch.

I have hiked mt olympus before with my brother david. last year it seemed way easier. 

probably because i worked out like crazy. this year it seemed a little more difficult. but still fun.

i loved hiking it with my Dad, Mom, brother: David, Richard and my sister Kimberly.

it tested our endurance and strength. In the end it was worth it to sit up at top looking at my family around me and seeing the beautiful city that we live in. It made me grateful for so many things especially that moment of good health and strength to be able to climb this mt. We weren't in a hurry at all, taking our time and enjoying the memories. The worst part about hiking: is if your forget masquito spray. we found a spot to take a break and eat some snacks. of course the one spot we decided to take it has the most bugs. just flying around by your face. it got so annoying. i think they were all by me to. because i put hand sanitor on and it was the smelly strawberry kind delicious by the way ha ha. The beginning and the end of the hike are the worst parts that test your strength and endurance. I was so proud of my sister who didn't want to go up top and didn't think she would make it eventually decided to from me and dad telling her it will be fine. She did awesome. and kept pushing forward having a positive attitude. at the top we signed our names and wrote a message and put it back in the mailbox. funny thing there was a mirror in the mailbox. for the kind person who put that there thanks my contact was bothering me ;) we took tons of pictures. it was so pretty. being up on top and looking down. hiking down my sister fell a couple of times. she was struggling a little bit good thing her family was there to help her and stick with her the whole time. My little brother and I decided to run down the mountain. half way down we decided this and jogged down the trail. it was fun. i had to keep up with richard. he was crusin. down the dirt path. eventually we made it to the bottom and had to wait for the rest of our family. it started to rain. and we sat in the rain. enjoying the smell and getting a little chilly. then my sister made it down. us three down. with no keys to the car perfect. guess we have to wait longer for mom and dad and david. we ended up walking on the main road only for about 10 14 more mintues then they picked us up and off we went back home.

the next day. you could tell we were all soar by the way we were walking. some soar more then others. I'm so proud of my Mom and Dad and Brother's and Sister they did amazing and glad we could spend this fourth of july 2011 hiking the mt we see every day. 

My little brother richard said that it changed his perspective of the mountain now, after hiking it he appreciates it much more then he did before. It is true once you hiked the strenuous hike you are grateful for it before and so much more after ;) great perspective he had. 

went to the Holladay fireworks with my friend Amy :) they were great also.

alright. Everyone has those crushes. right>? well I have liked this kid in High School. 

I don't know why he is way attractive. and of course he seems way nice.

I got his number from a co-worker at work in High School. we text. he worked out at Gold's. I would see him but not the type of person to just go up to someone at the gym and start talking. I would just admire ha ha. not creepy way. i promise. but anways we texted and were going to meet up one time and hang out. 

nope never happened.

then I went to snow college. he went on a mission.

he just got back 2 weeks ago. yes he is now in my singles ward this summer. funny right. he was on the stand doing the sacrament. and of course I just had to tell my two girl friends sitting next to me. they just laughed at me.

in my mind. ....i don't think he knows me or even remembers me. but were facebook friends. so he has seen me before and I have seen him.

funny thing. then we go to sunday school. and we went to the same class as him. i'm so excited. ha ha such a little child again. my friend suggested me to go first. but I didn't think he knew who i was. me putting those comments in my head. then my friend sat next to him. then I sat next to my friend. 

he leans over and was like Hey Sarah. (i was in shock. and it just made my whole Single's Ward)

i just kept laughing in my head. i missed the chance to talk to him after sunday school. because my friends I just left and went to Relief Society. maybe next sunday I will go up and talk to him....yes i need to....ha ha.

I just love those crushes we never forget about. and we get all girly in side and overthinking and such. its great real great......well least there is now ONE attractive guy in our singles ward that I actually like ha ha. and he isn't way old. perfect. right.

ha ha this just made me laugh. i found in on ETSY. cutest website ever. maybe I will suggest this ha ha! I'm craving pancakes right now probably because it is morning. great sunday.

Oakley Rodeo.

i got a text at work from a friend Mackenzie saying that she is selling two tickets to the
I wasn't doing anything tonight. no work. so why not>? I got more info and bout 2 tickets for 25 dollars. done deal. saved 5 dollars. plus you have to order these tickets in advance in september. cause it sells out. crazy right. I'm glad i bought them. I asked my dad. and he was my date. done deal :)

went to work. went swimming with my friend Alisha.
you know those days where you just want to be in the sun. yes that was today. It felt so good to just sit down and relax, talk, lay out, enjoy the sun, cold water, music. it was a nice relaxing afternoon. I did get burned especially on my belly but it is fine no worries. just use sun screen fyi. ha ha. I think this might have to happen again next week just lay out and soak up the sun.

I LOVE SUMMER

picked up the tickets: then off to get my COWGIRL BOOTS (which pair do i wear ha ha)
my belt. jeans. and plaid shirt. got ready and my dad and I left for the Oakley Rodeo. Daddy daughter evening's are always the best. especially when they are spontaneous like this one.
      We stopped at this cute little diner for food.

i get my usual: grilllled cheeeeeeese sandwhich
with fries
and lemonade. the best lemonade with the best small cubes. ahh i love the cruchy small ice cubes.
so good.
plus this child's meal you can never go wrong. always delicious.
after filling up our tummies.

we ate then ddrove 5 mintues to the rodeo. found a perfect parking spot for free. and walked to get inside the rodeo with our tickets.
one of my favorite things about the rodeo: is the guys. funny right. I think guys are so attractive in button down shirts. plaid shirts are the best. COWBOY boots are to die for. with those wrangler jeans. and don't forget their BELT buckle and COWBOY hat. ooooh man I am in love. so many. i look left. look right..i'm in love with the outfit. good pick for the occasion. good pick on them. so attractive. i was loving it!!....BONUS :)

the rodeo was perfect. got great seats. the people in front of us didn't show up so we could put are feet on top of their seats. perfect weather. not to hot not to cold. very entertaining. amazing riders. amazing animals. horses are beautiful.the crowd gets involved. it becomes a competition with scoring. gets in tense. we booooed if the score was to low. it was a great night with my dad. they did barrel races. bull rides. horse rides. clown act with his little son. bulls run after the two guys. it was very eventful very entertaining. to end the show they had fireworks because of the fourth of July coming up. best first day of July 2011 with my dad. loved it. we are going to get tickets next year for the whole fam. I can't wait to go again........i would recommend it! So much fuN! well worth the drive.
