 It was a grand adventure at Lagoon. I haven't gone since last year it was good to go again.

best parts of the day :

1. wearing my new white V neck shirt from Target. Guess how much I got it for yes $2.75. SOLD. I just had to buy it. 75% on clearnce. best deals in town. love the shirt also so it worked out good. 
2. Alisha struggling at driving. and me not really helping her. we forgot how to get to Lagoon. and missed the exit luckily for GPS systems we decided to look at it and follow it instead of our minds. good idea. ha ha we couldn't even see the rides from the freeway who knows where we were going.
3. going on the new ride. heart racing. it was intense but so much fun. i loved the drop.
4. sky scrapper across the park.
5. free food. good hamburger's and chips and potatoe salad
6. feeling like a kid all over again.everyone loves that feeling right?
7. short lines. fast pace. going on the rides more then once.
8. not to hot not to cold. perfect weather.
9. us being crazy. laughing. talking and enjoying all the rides.
10. playing a fish game. for two dollars. winning a pink fish for my bed.
11. Alisha and her cousin using her girl flirt and getting us and her cousins free cherrios. good thing she bought one. then they had two left over they just couldn't throw them away. they told us to wait unitl the manger comes. so we did and then they gave it to us at the door. so good free warm cherrio. they are delicious.

tired of the same work routine.

alright alright. i admit i'm sick of work.
i used to love going, but now i feel as if i am just so used to the routine that it just fits in.
but really i am just waiting tell the month of august.
i will be putting my two weeks notice in. it will be nice.
looking for a new job. i can't wait to get my bachelor's degree in something i love. then i can have a job to love and to love doing each day. it makes me grateful for education ten times more.
at work.
sick of the same regular's that come in.
working with the same people. who are not good influence's to be around. i get to hear some of the worst conversations. they are great people. but at work some things shouldn't be talked about.
knowing that work takes up most of my days. times. the day goes by slow and fast. but really didn't do anything except work.
i'm sick of black pants. i always wear to work.

...........i have so many clothes in my closets that I haven't worn for ever it seems. i just always am in my work outfit. then come home and change into my pj's. it is teriable. I think i love sunday's cause I don't have to work and I can actually get ready for the day. with lots of color's. wear jewelry. and wear my hair down. it is great.

i guess this post. is saying I"M EXCITED AND NEED A NEW JOB!! :) 
it will be nice. tomorrow I don't have work at all. i got someone to switch shifts with me so I can go to Lagoon with Alisha and her cousins. I'm excited it will be fun. I haven't gone to lagoon for awhile. so let the crazy adventure rides begin! ;) 
 well i can't wait to get a new job. and move out. it is crazy how time is moving by so quickly before i know it it will be august. ahh ;) so excited to start some new journey's in the next two months.

first saturday in June.

pretty much i love Saturday's.
my dad and I got some family name's to go and do baptism's.
we tried last week to go but it just didn't work out.
today was the day. got up. church clothes on. (my room is still a mess couldn't find the dress I wanted to wear)
but oh well glad I found another church outfit. then off we went to the Salt Lake Temple. It was very nice outside. not to cold. which i love. pretty flowers surrounding the salt lake temple.  I love the feeling inside the Temple and especially being with my dad.
Daddy daughter morning. it was by far the best morning this week. i loved it. I love having him baptize me. at the end he always kisses my forhead:) then i know the names are done. ooh i love my dad so much. words can't even describe how grateful I am for him. after the temple. i wanted to go to the DI. yes that would be desert industries. i always find some great treasures. of course it didn't open until ten and we got there at nine. we went to the storehouse and got some food storage. i got a bag of RICE. i absolutely love rice. i ate it so much down at snow. call me crazy. but so good! they didn't have any hot coco can's ready so the guy asked if we have time to help. yes indeed twenty mintues to spare. put on a hat, apron, gloves and made some hot coco storage bins. it was fun. except wearing those nasty hair hats. i just don't like them. i laughed at my dad when he was wearing his. then he said i had wings with my hair down. i guess the point of the hair hats is to keep your hair up right. well i put it on with my hair down. ha ha but then ended up putting it in a bun. i'm sure it looked fantastic. ha ha. it was then ten. perfect timing. walked over to the DI. I bought these really good looking COWGIRL boots. i'm so excited. they are like brand new. i got them for a good deal. being a college student got to shop wisely right;) then i found this interesting vintage bag. it was a must have for me to buy. I'm wearing it to church tomorrow. my sister said she was going to borrow it. that means it has to be adorable ;) i got it for two whole dollars. money spent very well. i love it. i love this bag and excited to wear it. i need to share more often with my sister. I was blog stalking and came up to a letter about a sister telling her sister all the things she loved. it mentioned sharing her clothes when ever. yes i am a little picky. but i need to not be and just let her go whenever. my sister is darling and does ask but really no need for that anymore. just invade please i can only wear one outfit at a time. which most always happens to be my black jeans for work and my work shirt. everyday yes. its great. ha ha. It was a great morning with my dad. He appreciated it as much as I did. Love these mornings.

then got ready for work. opened at 230. left at 720.
decided to go running when i got home from work. i was frustrated at work. it drives me crazy when people don't take work seriously. i now it is a resturant. but some of the conversations and things i hear is disgusting. and i don't want to hear it. ugh i hate when people swear and talk dirty. come on. i'm glad i can be an example and some say sorry when they swear which i appreciate.i just felt like today i was doing all the work. which i'm fine about. but it is nice when other's step in to help. oh well.it might also be I'm ready for a new job. uhh only three more months I can stick through it. i know i need a challenge. meet new people work wise. a job is a job. just got to be postive. and keep working hard.
after work needed to workout. so frustrated. and took small little dumb things and made them a big deal in my mind. needed to refresh and be alone running.

i love running. i need to run more often and fit it in my morning schedule.
I left my house at 7:50p.m put on my jamin tunes. and went for a run.
kept running..........never looking at the time. just jamin to tunes. and thinking and enjoying the nice day to be outside running. watching cars drive past. and the wonderful neighborhoods.
i set my route before i left. thinking i can do it.
i wanted to take short cuts. but nope had to stick with my route that i wanted to accomplish.
i got back at 8:58p.m i love those runs where time flies and it didn't even feel that long of a run.
yes grand run. i feel great! and need to keep working on a half marathon in the next month or so.
:) wish me luck ha ha.

went to the grocery store with my dad.
shopping for grocery is always a fun sight.
so many interesting people. it is great. got food for sunday.
It was great spending time with my dad and mom. they are my best friends. and family. and parents. but i love the time we spend. especially since i don't really hang out with anyone. bc i'm always working. so its nice to mix up my days and go on adventures with them.

my siblings. sister kimberly. little brother richard. and older brother david. all went to lagoon today. I wanted to go but had work so couldn't and didn't really didn't want to spend money doing that. I hope they had fun;) love those 3 siblings as well.

loooooong work day.

alright long day at work. 11:30 a.m- 10:00 p.m
uhhh gotta love long days at work.
I wasn't suppose to work tonight but since I'm just so nice I took another co-workers shift this evening.
yeah asking me three hours before she was suppose to work.
i was already at work my shift was suppose to end at five.
nope i continued on working her shift five to close. good thing I said yes.
so kind really....after those long days makes me appreciate education. I can't wait to do a job that I will actually enjoy and want to be doing. it makes me happy.

I finished closing up at work.
you know when your just craving something. and need it in your belly and taste buds ;)
call me crazy. but I was in the mood for raspberry yogurt and packaged granola.
I had to make a pit stop at the grocery store before heading home. to pick up my two cravings!! 
when i got home. i mixed them together and it tastes delicious! I'm now satisfied. ha ha so good!
and of course I think it was a very healthy snack especially around 10:30 p.m
craving desire= done accomplished. so good. yum! 

I haven't had anytime really to do anything it seems like work. work. more work.Work
after work. I'm not in the mood to do anything.
All I want to do is jump in my warm, comfortable bed and call it a night.
so tomorrow before work. i have things to get done. Yes that means waking up a little early.

yes as you can tell from the picture. i need to do my laundry. procrastination kills.
I tend to have a habit of doing it and then leaving it out and forgetting to put it away.
then that just causes more mess in my room which i don't need.
that will change tom. yes it will. laundry done.
I have a couple things to organize in my room also. 
I just love when your whole day is spent at work. makes time go by so fast and slow but yet your stuck in the same place all day. it's my second home.

I changed up my blog a little bit. Lately I have loved the colors black red white together. That is why I changed my theme to black and red. You know when your in the mood to change things up a bit? yeah well I was in that mood. Hopefully it looks good ;) I love it. I liked my other background, but it just seemed to get in the way a little bit and a distraction. I love the white background on other blogs I read so might as well do it to my own blog. It makes it easier to read the posts ;)

honesty.

Today in my Single's Ward we had a lesson about honesty. I love these Mormon Ad message's even though the one with the boy is very old. They still have deep meaning and you can relate to the topic. The one on the left makes me think of the choice's that I am making and that I have made in the past. Have I stayed on my toes or have I given in and fallen towards the nails? What are you doing to stay on the straight and narrow path. I feel as if those nails in the ad are the adversary tempting us to fall away. Don't let it stay on your toes and follow the path. I know I can improve my path:) We tend to make mistakes even if it is that white little lie we told a family member, friend, co-worker. It is those little things that eventually will add up and become big things. You might as well not even start with the lying because it will just get worse. I know I have had some friends before where they have lied to me thinking I wouldn't find out. It hurts deep inside and then that friendship tends to decrease or more like the honesty and trust issue goes down. I love the power in honesty and I know if we are honest with those around us we won't have anything to hide. I love the gospel and how lessons remind us of our everyday lives and what we can improve on. 

Honesty is important with my future husband, boyfriend, family, friends, and even most important myself and with God.

Scandivian Festival 2011

One of my favorite festivals is the Scandinavian festival in the heart of Ephraim utah. I have moved on from this small town and from Snow college. Going back I realized that there will always be a part of me that loves the small town and the memories shared and the ones I created. 

I asked my amazing friend Ashley if I could stay at her apartment which worked out very well they had an extra room with no roommate yet. I got there and we talked and catched up. I love catching up with friends and hearing about what they have done. 

We decided to go and make some ablsciver’s. If you haven’t tried these they are the best. I admit the one’s we made didn’t turn out as well but they were still good. We cooked them in a cupcake tray which might have been the problem. It was fun to make them and take pictures and laugh. We got some Smore’s ice cream. The three of us never had tried it. Yeah we pretty much devoured the container of ice cream. We watched a movie and it was time for bed.

Don’t you hate when you have something you don’t want to miss in the morning or you can’t be late for? It seemed like every hour I would wake up in the middle of the night. I was excited for the race, but just couldn’t sleep. I didn’t want to sleep in or miss my alarm. Then it eventually came every twenty mintues 3:20 3:40. ahhhh you have got to be kidding me. Yeah lets just say I didn’t sleep well. I didn’t even hear my alarm or turn it on. I got up at 5:15 and decided to just get ready. Thanks time for going by so so sloooow.

well The festival first started off with running bright and early in the morning.

I struggle at getting up early so this was the hardest part for me. I registered at 6:00 a.m and ended up getting number ONE.

Yeah baby! I was excited to wear that on my old running shirt from last year. I did the 5k this year was the 10k. The race started at 6:30 a.m. I had time to go get a drink and a protein bar. Before I knew it time was telling me the race was going to start soon. I wore my high socks so I wouldn’t lose my car key and had a place to put it while running. I had my tunes and to keep me going and jamming while running. There weren’t that many people doing the 10k about 25. I was quiet impressed most of them always do the 5k. I decided I needed a challenge. The race went great I loved running around town reflecting back on the time I was there. I loved running on the dirt road and through the neighborhood. I was able to pace myself and start the race of a little faster passing people and getting ahead. My goal was to run the whole thing. Yes accomplished! I did I ended up finishing at

55:20 seconds. I was so proud!!!

My favorite part about running is when you start the finish line and then end at the finish line. I love the feeling as if I accomplished something that can be hard. I feel as if it is a mind thing with me when running. I have to keep my mind positive and telling my self to keep pushing hard and to keep running and motivated. I am excited after finishing the 10 k to try and do a half marathon. Then after the half marathon I want to eventually do a marathon.  I’m excited and can’t wait!! 

After doing the 10 k I met up with Ashley and Amanda. The funny thing is we all three ran the 5k last summer. I’m glad we all 3 did it this year again. I just decided to challenge myself. This was the first 10k for me it won’t be the last ;) I caught up with them and we took some great photos as you can see below. We look great after the race.

Ate some breakfast then got ready for the day wearing my carpet hat because my hair just was working for me after the race lol. We went to the festival and the parade. I got some free candy which is the best part about the parade’s. Why wouldn’t you go if there was candy involved. My love is candy so it is perfect haha.

I saw in a distance my Ex-boy friends family. I think they new who I was we kind a looked at each other. I decided to keep walking with my head up high and a smile and not acknowledge them. I probably should have said hi right? Or is that weird to say Hi to the family that you dated their son then he was the one to call it off. Yeah awkward. I have moved on and it has been for the best. I hope the best for them they all looked great. Anways I bought this adorable thing at this cute shop on main street. Good thing it wasn’t there last year because I would have spent my money there. It is a cute little thrift shop with new and old clothing for girls. I got this cute necklace thing to hang all my necklace’s on. I’m pretty excited. It was 30 percent off to. I love saving who doesn’t. I love deals they are the best way to go. So I felt good for buying it. Ha ha after we decided to go back for lunch and chill at Ashley’s place.

It was a good weekend down in E-town with some friends seeing a couple old friends and saying hi to my old roommate Tc who is now married. So exciting. It was fun to see their married apartment.

You know when your driving and it consist of one or more hours you just tend to lose yourself in the nature around when driving seeing the mountains, houses, animals, other cars, tree’s. I am always amazed of the beauty that surrounds us. we really do live in a pretty state. I tend to listen to my Taylor Swift CD and enjoy the ride back home to good home sweet home in Salt lake.

Girls afternoon. 
it was fun after the race. I met up with two of my good friends and we schedule an appointment to get our nails done at 3:30. It was way fun. We were able to catch up while pampering ourselves. I do admit i haven't gotten my nails professionally done before. It was worth it and they look way cute. Everyone at work loved them same with my family. Even at work cashing customer's out I looked at people's nails..funny right. It made me very observant. I love them! They are suppose to last 3 weeks and then you go back in and they fill them.....but again money would add up in this process lol so I guess we will see how these 3 weeks go with them;) Everyone once in awhile i think going to a day spa and pampering yourself. Is very nice. Especially when we get caught up in work and school we tend to forget to relax. :) well got to go to work now;) ha ha ha

5k Race for the Cure

Pretty sure this is one of my favorite 5k that I enjoy doing. I always feel like I am helping a good cause which I am. My mother and I both registered yesterday and picked up are awesome t-shirts to wear for the run. Richard my little brother also decided to do it with us It was funny he had a sleep over at our neighbor’s and stayed up late and came home early in the morning to get ready before we left. He looked exhausted lol. We left around 7:40. Found a great parking spot. And walked to wear the race begins which was downtown in front of the Delta Center. If you haven’t done this race before you must do it next year. There are always so  many people and it is an amazing thing to participate in. Of-course I brought my camera to take pictures of the event. Enjoy! I’m glad my mom and brother did it this year with me. First year I did it with my good friend Whitney Second year I did it with my older brother this year mom and younger brother. I love it and love them! Its been fun!

Ps- If you do a race the next morning I don't think it would be the best idea to have a sleep over....just saying. Lesson learning for Richard. ha ha! I just had to take a picture. He was so deep into getting some rest. He slept for 2 1/2 hours after the race. Good thing he caught up on his lack of sleep after the race. ha ha ha love yeah richard!
