March Madness

Alright I admit.

I have a passion for basketball.

yes I have watched most of all the March Madness Basketball Games

for NCAA tournament.

I did fill out a bracket.

and my final four teams are no longer even in the tournament.

It is crazy the final four teams.

consist of

Kentucky

Butler

VCU

UCON.

it just blows my mind.

Anything can happen in a game and in life.

My two teams were playing today. I wasn't able to watch them because they were both during church hours. But of course I had my phone with me and my brother David kept me updated on the scores and times.

in the end both of my two teams that played today lost.

North Carolina and Kansas.

dang it. oh well always next year when they play again.

i love march madness.

yes I will still continue to watch the tournament and the Final four teams.

and the final two teams.

and see who comes out with the victory win.

I think it is going to be Butler vs Ucon. i think ucon will eventually win but I am going to go for the underdog: Butler ;)

last evening in Ephriam with my old roomie Amy

Amy and I went and did are one and only Mavrick run this year. It is also the Last Mavrick run this year because she is moving back to Salt Lake. Instead of getting ice cream or yogurt that we usually get we decided to get some 

Hot chocolate. 

It was nice and warm especially when it was cold outside. We got are Hot Chocolate buddle up and went to the park and swinged on the swings and talked and talked. You know when you have a friend where you can tell them anything and they will tell you anything. You know so much about this person/ friend because they are willing to trust you with the information given to you. I love our conversations that we have. We have created so many memories from rooming together, from movies, from night time walks, from playing basketball, from cooking, from shopping, etc.

Love you Amy thanks for being that friend that is always there for me and you have helped me with so many things and so many tough struggles. 

I am so greatful to have many friends that have touched my life and have made a big impact. I loved the year that I attend at Snow College and greatful for those I came in contact with and for many friends. Amy and I have planned a weekend going down to visit and see her place it just hasn't worked out. I'm glad it finally did and I can say that this was a Great. Fantastic Weekend that I needed!! It turned out better then what I had planned. We were able to do so many fun things and catch up on life, and bring back good memories. 

Thanks Amy for letting me come down to visit and putting up with me. 

You have one month left then your moving back to Salt Lake City. 

Can't Wait! lets get are basketball shooting in at Golds. along with the steam room ;)

and enjoy walks around the park.

Manti Temple with Caitlan

Manti Temple 2010

I told Caitlan I was coming down for the weekend and we decided to go to the Manti Temple and do baptisms. I haven't been to this temple for awhile I think the last time was during the summer semester when I was taking classes because I haven't been able to make it down here during the fall cause of work so I'm glad I was able to attend the temple. The funny thing is we made the appointment for Saturday morning around 6:30 a.m. We didn't end up going to that time because we both stayed up late doing different fun activites and lost track of time. We then set the appointment up for about 6:30 which worked out great!! good thing we are flexiable and work around each other's schedule and the Temple's. I love how whenever we see each other we always include going to the temple. I love having that friend where you can be so spiritual and your both able to attend the temple. She is going to Orem this summer. I told her that I will try and come down and visit and then we can go to the Provo Temple together ;) I think this is a great goal that we have created as friends to make time to do baptisms at the temple that is close to us at the time. We are truly blessed to have so many temple's close to us. I love it!! After doing baptisms. We then went to a little shop in Manti for shakes. It was so delicious!! I should have taken a picture of it ha ha. I had chocolate, rasberry with brownie chunks in it. Alright one of the best shakes I have had! Next time I visit I will have to stop by and buy myself a shake.

Festival Of Colors

I have always wanted to attend this event and have heard many things and seen many pictures but always forgot when it was happening and to be honest I didn't even know it was Saturday 26th.

It just so happened to be the weekend I was visiting Amy. We got a group of people. I, Tc, Amy, and Emily Bridges. We drove in Amy’s car listening to music and jamming to songs on our way to Spanish Fork. 

I'm so glad I came this weekend to visit my bested friend.old roomie: Amy Meadors :)

I always love car rides with friends, 

just laughing, 

talking, 

jamming to tunes.

 I love when ever we passed a semi truck I would always put my hand out the window for them to honk. It was great I think I got about 15 semi trucks.

We bought our chalk on the side of the road and put them in our shirts tell we got the temple. 

I had the girl we bought the chalk from take a picture of us before and a picture of us leaving. She was very nice to take the photo's for me. I was greatly appreciated.

It was a very eventful day. There were so many people. We all got there for the first throwing. It was intense and when the count down goes and it gets to one. You start throwing your chalk in your hands it gets to a point where you can’t breath and your just looking down and people’s shoes so you won’t get it in your eyes or in your mouth. Everyone was colored in Chalk. It was crazy. We went right in the middle of the mash pit. It was way fun especially since we had  a huge group of people from Snow.  They were playing music on the stand and you would just dance around with chalk all over your clothes mudd on your shoes and chalk on your face.

We went to the first throwing. This picture was taken from the Road. I zoomed in and look at all the people and the mudd. The picture in the begging you could see snow. There wasn't any left because it turned in to mud.

I was able to visit one of my old room mates Amy Meadors this weekend. We have been planning this event forever. I was suppose to go down in the fall but that didn’t work out with my work schedule. I finally was able to get work off and this was the last dance for her school year and I told her I would be there ;)
Oh boy did we have fun getting are bright clothing on.

We got all ready in our bright neon clothes.

The first 100 people got free snow crèmes.
Which if you haven’t had before they are the best snow crèmes in Spring Ville.
I suggest you have one. they are to die for.
especially if you get the coconut creme ice cream ummmmm. yum.
I had red velvet cake.
Can you say Delicious! That made the whole thing worth it.

I used my old id from last year and paid 1 dolla to get in.

We got glow sticks.

They had bright neon sharpies on the table to write things or draw pictures on yourselves.

I didn’t think it would show up but when we went in the dance room you could see others that drew on themselves and you could see it through the neon light.

So me and Amy decided to get our dance freak style on.
I do admit we went crazy with the bright Sharpy.

The fire alarm even when off which was funny because they had those smoke balls and I guess it let the alarm go off. So everyone had to evacuate.
but then we were able to go back in. It was actually nice a cold breeze from being outside. made us want to dance and get back to grovvin

The last dance this semester. I think it was well worth it. We both had a great time! I always think the best part about dance's is actually taking the time to dress up and put your grovvin stylish clothes on. Well i guess that is my favorite part ;) pictures describe the crazyiness fun times I always tend to have

always make the best of the time and best of the situations.

boys etc.
I always enjoyed this and we were able to walk around E town this night. It reminded me of so many events from last year I can’t believe it has been a year since I was going here. It is crazy how time just flies.
