Provo for the weekend ;)

This weekend consisted of me driving down to Provo to visit a good friend from Snow College. When ever we hang-out we always tend to have a grand time, take pictures, catch up on life, and go to a temple.

As you can see from the picture’s we started our adventure by going to eat at P.F Changs. I have never been to this restaurant before. I have heard it is way good from friends and family. Caitlan’s sister told her that if you go and by a lemonade for $2.50 then you receive a free chicken lettuce wrap. That’s just what we did funny thing is though you can only have one coupon per table. I swear coupon’s always try to be so tricky, we ended up doing take-out order and it worked out just great ;
they were delicious and filled me up. If you haven’t tried them you need to!
We just had to take picture’s with this beautiful white horse that was in front of P.F Changs.

After a hilarious movie of mega-mind.
We decided to go to
Look-Out point up Provo Canyon.
I have never been here before.
It is so pretty when you get up to the top
and look out
and see all the different city lights.
I was lost for words.
You have to experience it.
This was one of my favorite things
we did that day.
Driving up the canyon was fun also,
different twists and turns.
It didn’t even take us long before
we were at the top.
I peeked and looked out the window
when turning and was so impressed
by what I saw.
It was a fun night.
Us three talked and laughed while
enjoying the scenario.
Of course we had to try and attempt to take pictures and that is just what we did ;)
driving back we realized it was about 3:30 a.m. I felt young again for staying up so late.
Made me think of college times down at Snow.
Sleeeeeeeeping in the next morning was a must
we got up around 10:00 a.m
Got ready to go
To the
Provo Temple ;)

I haven’t been inside this temple before. It was a neat experience and I loved everything about it and especially the feeling I felt while inside.
I love the Temple!

Thanks Cailtan for a great Friday night and Saturday morning/afternoon.
Thanks for letting me stay at your place and sleeping your couch.
I appreciate it very much.
Your amazing! I’m glad we have created many memories. I love going to do baptism’s with you.
We will have to do Mt. Timp. Temple soon! ;)
Thanks for being a wonderful example to me.
Love you! Snowblast friends for life! Ha!

girl time.

Catchin up with friends.

I love summer and the idea of friends from high school coming back home or even visiting for a week. Last week on Tuesday afternoon I went to lunch with a friend from high school named Jessica we went to the Dodo. I have never been there before and I thought it was really good. To be honest though my friends sandwich looked better then mine. So next time I getting what she got ha! It was fun to catch up to talk about life, school, high school, etc. It was fun to catch up ;)

Ahui and I were going to go see a movie but we decided on getting frozen yogurt instead. Ps- if you go this Saturday you get a free 8 oz cup of ice cream for Customer Appreication day. I’m way excited. I love free food especially frozen yogurt it is a must. I got the pistacho ice cream with dark chocolate chips on top. Yeah it hit the spot. It was fun to catch up with Ahui again especially since she goes down to BYU provo for school and I’m up here so it has been hard. You know those friends where you haven’t seen for about 5 months and when you hang out it still feels the same. I love that and we have a great friendship. She has been a great friend that I met my senior year of High school.

On Wednesday afternoon I catched up with a friend named Hailey from jr jazz basketball that I did my junior and senior year of high school. She went down to Snow of course the year after I graduated so we weren’t there at the same time. Bummer right! Ha I was able to go down and visit my room mates from Snow and I took time to see her and catch up. We talked in her apartment forever! Ha loved it! Well we decided on café rio. You know what the best part was I finally reached and didn’t lose my card and got a FREE CAFÉ RIO SALAD. It was bomb. I loved it.
Chicken salad
Brown pinto beans
Everything except gacumolia
Lots lots lots of chips
And the green sauce.
………most delicious salad ever! It was soooooo good! Ahh!
We went outside on the tables and talked and talked and talked. It was so good to see her as well. We always have good deep and funny conversations, never a dull moment. She was a nanny this summer for about two months in texas. It was interesting to hear about her nanny experience and certain tips and situations she would change differently. I wishe her the best of luck at Snow this year. We also talked about life things, spiritual things, family, friends married, etc. It was great to after work actually go to lunch with a friend. I have loved doing this it helps me out and makes me have a social life again and not focus on work to much. Funny thing Is the café rio worker came out and was like do you guys need help or anything you have been out here for three hours talking. We just laughed! We had to much things to catch up and talk about it didn’t even feel like we were there that long. It was funny. Of course this little brat that was sitting at the table next to us. left with his brother and mom and when they were far enough were we could hear them. He yelled thanks for telling us all your stories. We both just laughed. If they didn’t want to hear them they could have gone inside. Nope they decided to sit there and to be honest I never even heard them talk. Funny. Then this one gal an hour later sat in the same seat got up and left after she ate and was like You girls make me feel young again. Don’t get married young and enjoy your concerts your going to. She was very nice ;) made up for the little brat. Ha! Hailey and I are going to the Tim McGraw concert on august 6th. I’m so excited and can’t wait. Right after we had lunch I went to smiths tix and purchased my ticket. Got work off already it is a done deal! ;)

After having a great time at work, fantastic lunch and purchasing my Tim McGraw ticket! Also it is Wednesday night. Meaning that Amy and Sarah time.  Each week on Wednesday night we have decided to hang out and go to different parks or hikes. So far we have done 4 weeks in a row. It has been great times for sure. Wednesday we decided on going to Sugar house park and playing basketball. She texted me about 20 mintues before she was coming that if it was alright if she brought someone. In my mind I was thinking it was the guy from work. nope it wasn’t it was another guy. They have been hanging out and really good friends. She told me before hand he had a lot of tatoo’s and an earring on his face……me nope that is not my thing at all. I will not date any one with a tato. And to be honest when I see someone that comes in to work or when I’m out and about they are very attractive and then I see a tattoo on their arm. Nope not attractive anymore. Ha! It is a great standarad thing I made as a goal and a life time goal. Anyways I met him and he was way nice and friendly. I just feel bad for my best friend amy because I don’t want her to go down a path that she doesn’t want to. I just hope the best for her and hope she makes the right choices for herself. She seems way happy which is AWESOME. And when we played basketball they were way cute together. For her I approve. Ha! It was fun to shoot around, play twenty one and get some excersie in. We all three were terriable shooters we lost our special touch. Just need to practice more. It was great to pick up that sport again especially with my roommate. Jr jazz friend amy! ;) ahh love yeah girl! Can’t wait for next Wednesday acitivity.

Today I went to lunch with Hannah. She is one of my bestest friends from High School and Junior high and we went to elementary school together as well. We have had postivie and negative experience but in the end we will always stay friends and keep in contact. When I was at Snow last year it was fun to talk on the phone with her, we would read our favorite scripture to each other and talk about what we did that day and the relationships with guys that were going on and just life things. It is always great to have a friend that will listen to you and help you in times of need or when your struggling. I hope that I am that way to other people that our my friend that they know they can talk to me whenever and I can help them and give them advice because I love it in returen. Well I haven’t seen Hannah for a year now because she was a nanny in New York City. Crazy right. It was so so so good to see her. It felt like it was two days ago that we talked but really we talked on and off on the phone but in person it has been a year. Time just flies. We met up at Zuppas I got a delicious chicken fruit salad and then the chedder cheese soup. Delicious. I was starving since I didn’t eat a big breakfast. It was interesting to hear about her Nanny experience and how she has grown from them. She is amazing and I loved catch up with her. Ahhh how I have missed my best friend!! We also talked about high school, people we know that are married now, talked about friends, talked about life, life situations, relationships, work wise, gerneral life things. It was great. We could have talked longer but of course I had to go to work and she had a family party. Were trying to do something tomorrow Friday before she leaves Saturday. Thanks Hannah for always being there for me. Your amazing and so strong. I love being around you and catchin up like old times! Love yeah!

early morning nanny

Nanny.
This week was my first week of Nanny but technically I have know the family for awhile. I have watcher her two children on and off but never on a regular basis. She asked me before summer to be Nanny but it interfered with my Day job at Robintinos and the time schedule didn’t work for me. I felt bad but told her what was going on. Then she asked me to babysit and then said that her nanny just got an internship and she was looking for another. She told me that she would work around my work schedule and have me tell the rest of summer is over. (when I move out again crazy!) I nanny this week from Tuesday- Friday. The time is 5:45-10:30. It was been a busy busy week for me with work, nanny in the morning, working in the evenings, and going to lunch with friends. I love getting up this early in the morning. Alright on the first two days I dreaded it. So early! I can barely wake up for work at 10:30 in the morning. Things needed to change and I needed to get a routine going. That is just what I did by Wednesday I still sleep through my alarm, but luckily my wonderful mom comes in and turns on my light and tells me to get up. Ha! How old am I? Oh well I love it and appreciate her for doing that on and off. Some days I just get up others I tend to sleep through. I get up and it takes about 5 mintues to drive to her place so I leave around 5:35ish 5:40. I realized sleeping in you tend to be tierd through out the day more. I think when school starts I hope I keep this schedule going. It would be nice to get up at this time to go work out and read and ponder before my classes starts. We will see. I think I might keep it a goal ;) Anyways nanny has been fun. I have always loved her two children Mya and Grant they always have energy and we have been good friends from the start when they lived in their grand parents house right up the street from my house. I love children and love spending time with them in the morning helping them get ready for the day, doing a couple chores, fixing breakfast for them and playing for an hour before I leave for work. Sometimes they are little stinkers but for the most part they are pretty good. They usually don’t get up around 7:30-8:30ish. So I have time by myself for an hour to ponder, read, type, eat ;).
Grant told me one time he was like maybe we should tell my mom and we should go play at your house one time. I agreed. ;)

On Thursday morning. For breakfast we decided to have a picnic outside.
I brought a huge pink blanket that I got for a dollar and brought my teddy bear chocolate and they picked two animals of theirs. We grabbed plates and forks and some fruit and breakfast. Had a picnic in front. The grass was wet but that didn’t stop us. we went on the cement. It seemed like the ants wanted to follow us and join the party but we wouldn’t let them. Sorry ants stay away! It was a fun adventure ;)

concerts = love

rio tinto stadium.
JOURNEY. FOREIGNER CONCERT.
was amazing! I loved how their were different generations at the concert from old to middle age to teenager's and to young children. The music was alive. Even though for journey they have the oriental guy singing, his voice is amazing and sounds just like him. they were very entertaining tonight. loved. loved loved. it. funny thing my friend Cailtan and I were driving to the concert and we came to a light and was turning and her car decided to stop running on us. we were SHOCKED. and didn't know what to do. so she turned it off then called her mom and turned it back on...and it started up fine. weird right. we did not want to miss this concert. that would have been terriable. ha! good thing it worked. that was  a close one.
FREE PARKING. is also the best. even though you have to walk a little further. just think you get more excersice in then the other people who decided to pay 5 10 bucks for parking. ridicoulous unless your in a hurry.
we got here at the perfect time.
stood in line to buy our shirts.
do you like which one we decided on buying>? yes it was the best
one out of all the shirts they were selling. gotta love the jukebox. ;)

had to get someone to take a picture in front of the rio tinto stadium before we went down closer to the state for our seats.
seating wise. we got the best seats. close enough to see the people. and didn't have to worry about being in the stadium. we were on the field. it was amazing.
found our seats.
and talked and laughed and people watched. their are so many interesting people at concert. it is funny and makes you realize how normal you are. ha well atleast that is how i felt lol. crazy crazy people.
it is sad at concert's to when you realize how many people drink. it is sad. and of course when we were talking about it this TALL. big guy with black vest. boots. hat. beard. sat right next to my friend and had beer in his hands. gross. gross and gross. but oh well. ha ha i told her he looked like he was carrying a shotgun. and my friend thought i said shopko. ha ha we laughed.
the concert started and was beyond amazing. the first band never heard of before but was good to start out with.
then foreigner. we sang along. danced. waved. standing the whole time for their songs. it was great. pretty sure we both had amazing voices. ha!! ahhh i love love love them.
then final band was journey. they ended it with a bang. the lights getting all flashy. it was dark enough oustide to see the projector of them singing. again we sang along. when a song from their new album came on we sat down because we didn't know it.
plus standing the whole time is a workout we needed a break.
our voices losing. and cracking up. no water the whole time. we were parched. ha ha.
right after this AMAZING CONCERT. thanks again Caitlan!!
we demanded to go to Mcdonalds drive up to get water. a total of 25 cents. deal.
ice. water. not parched anymore. it was the best water i needed at the time.
put a cd in from the concert. and jammed. and sang....windows down air blowing.
it was a GRAND NIGHT> GIRLS NIGHT> CONCERT> BEST! ;) ahhh!!!!
here are some pictures from the concert. memories.

now we are trying to go to more concerts in august.
Tim McGraw. sugerland. and twilight serious. can't wait so excited!
Thanks Caitlin!
love yeah!

lost chord.

i went to best buy this weeeek. you see I lost an important chord to my big black book (memory device) that plugs into the wall and then you have a chord that hooks it into the computer. problem is I lost the chord to plug it in to my computer. terrible right. the nice thing is we have two of these on my dad's computer and one in the kitchen for family use. so i have been taking the chord off of that one to use. and then returning it right after. well  if you know me I like to take lots of photo's that is why this black book is way nice and stores a lot of storage onto. yeah for technology!! anyways. at best buy this chord is $26.00 and to spend that money on just one single chord. is to much in my opinion. so i decided to wait for it to go on sale or look around for a different price.  I went to the DI with my little brother and just happened to see a huge bucket of black chords. my thought they probably won't have it. why would they have the one chord i am looking for. I decided to look anyways and had a feeling to. I looked and the first chord I saw was wrapped around with a rubber band. and guess what it was the ONE CHORD I NEEDED! i was indeed happy. and so excited not to be spending $26....i went up to the cashier register gleaming with happiness. and the lady said http://presentationpictures.files.wordpress.com/2010/09/one-dollar-bill-image-large.jpgONE DOLLAR. yes I got for ONE DOLLAR. SOLD>DONE DEAL. i am no pleased. i went home plugged it in. and glorious it works. I was so excited. i pretty much love when you can find good treasure's at the thrift store or even the DI. it is worth the looking and waiting. :)

sweet tooth.

Yes I love sweeeeets. I believe sweets is my middle name.
I had cheesecake.
with strawberry syrup
chocolate syrup
finished it off with whip cream.
can you say DELICIOUS.
yes indeed.
funny thing: I ate a healthy lunch today at work. then after two hours after my break.
I gave in to this lovely cheesecake. You know those days though where you try so hard to eat healthy and your doing so good? then your tempted to eat a dessert. that was me today. so i hgave in. this was the craving that I was having all day........It was worth the calories. so good. I just had to snap a photo ;)

blue white sunnday clothes.

my favorite part about the morning's is deciding what to wear that day. Everyone does this. some put it into more depth then others. but we always have a curious mind thinking what to wear.
today I decided on my:
blue skirt that I bought at Macy's. I got it for 15 dollars regular 55 dollars. deal.
my white shirt is from downeast.
belt found at a thrift store: 1 dollar. I had to fix it for my waist length.
gold shoes: i can't remember wear I got them. ha ha. they are my glaitor shoes. very comfortable.

got all ready. left my room. and my sister had on the same color's as me.
except for a blue dress: from down east.
white undershirt. white leggings.
yellow flat shoes
gold wishing well necklace.

my little brother had on blue and white also.
white shirt. blue tie. black pants. looking sharp as always.

It was indeed needed for a picture after they went to the family ward. and i went to my singles ward.
we laughed. great minds think alike. blue and white. yeah!
I'm glad my siblings and I decide on the same color theme today.
I will have to get these pictures from my Dad's camera tomorrow and put them up:)

sunnday drives.

these past sunday's. my little brother Richard and my little sister Kimberly always want to go driving.
I remember being their age. which wasn't to long ago. and wanting to drive all the time.
funny thing is now. i don't really mind if my siblings drive me around. it is a pain sometimes but very nice. it is like my very own taxi driver. ha ha. and i don't even have to pay them. very nice indeed.
well today my little brother 15 years old. wanted to go driving.
so we went up to skyline. and did the driving course. it was fun to watch him drive. he can barely see over the steering wheel which is a little scary. us three had a good time. laughing. taking pictures of course can't forget my camera. ha. singing some church songs. watching the lighting.
i love my little brother and sister so much. I'm going to miss them when I'm up at college. they truly are my BEST friends. and have helped me out in so many ways! love them.
here our some of our crazy. photo's from today.(my computer is having problems I will upload them tom)
