last day of feb- visiting teaching.

alright it is the last day of the month. 

yes i know. but oh well least it counts right ;)

better late then ever.

to be honest I haven't had visiting teacher's in this Single's Ward come to my place at all.

it is quiet sad, but I understand with the busy schedule's and we tend to forget, or do it last minute.

least my home teacher's are on top of things and come every third sunday.

gotta love the singles ward.

I met with my New Visiting Teacher Companion.

we were able to go visit tonight.

it was very much needed.

I love meeting new people, and seeing what they are doing in their lives. These two women are both very older and wiser then me. I love hearing their insights on the gospel topic tonight. 

she did the lesson: on the power of Relief Society and how all women play a very important rule.

I did the treat: chocolate brownies can never go wrong with that.

I'm glad I got my visiting Teaching Done for the Month of Feb.

change of plans.

You know when you have this great Idea in your mind?

and you hope that things will work out. 

well I had a great idea. 

the idea was from a friend. It sounded like a grand Adventure to experience

I was feeling really good about it and decided to apply.  

You might be asking what in the world I am talking about I will explain: 

One of my really good friends that lives up the street from me went to Alaska last summer and worked up there. She has showed me pictures, and has shared her experience working and living in Alaska during the summer. She insisted that I applied for this summer. 

I thought it would be a fun change that I needed and plus working and being able to explore a new place what better idea> right?. 

So i went along with it and applied the first week of January. I was told that they would let me know sometime in Feb. Well i never heard anything tell I got an email yesterday saying that at this time they have already hired the new summer candiate's to be working and good luck.

  i admit i was bummed.

  i was looking forward to a fun adventure

being in a new atmosphere 

exploring Alaska

getting paid 

meeting new people

now I just have to ask my self now what>?

  now i need to figure out what to do next.

I guess the thing that I realized after reading the email for Alaska. 

That it just wasn't for me.

which is alright. I move forward

just means that I will need to look for another EXCITING job to do this summer.

better start looking & applying & figure out what to do next.

gotta love when your plans change.

                                I accept it and move on.

spending the moring with an amazing friend.

saturday: 8:00 a.m was the time we scheduled to meet up.
I arrived at 8:30 a.m. I woke up late and was running behind. I know we have all been there when your planning on meeting someone and your racing against time because your late. ha ha. Good thing thought I texted her and she said "no worries". Thank goodness! Caitlian was willing to wait for me which i appreciated. that is what good friends are for = to wait for each other ;)  
 The Morning was planned the following:

• baptism's at the Jordan River Temple.


• What a great oppourtunity I had to go with an amazing friend to the Temple today. Not just one temple two temple's is what we planned. We met up and we found out that it was a 2 1/2 hour wait to do baptism's. It was amazing to see all of these worthy latter-day saints come early on a Saturday morning to serve the Lord. It was a great feeling to be apart of it. 
• It was good to catch up on life and what we both have been up to. I haven't seen her since i was down in e-town which was awhile ago. I'm so glad Caitlian texted me when she was coming up North so we could plan this day. I had been looking forward to it all week;) 
• Hearing and sharing scriptures was a very powerful thing.
• Listening to her experience's down at Snow being in the Relief Society and teaching her lesson: on remembering who we are.
• I was able to feel the spirit so powerfully and thankful for the good friends in my life.
• Caitlian has been an amazing friend, were able to laugh, talk, smile, joke around. I'm so excited for the path she is choosing and for her strong testimony. She is a great example to look up to and to follow as a friend. Thanks!!!  
• pictures.

• being with friends you have to take pictures to remember the moment.
• to ponder and go back in to time when you look at the photo's.
• Today it was raining, but that didn't stop us. We were able to take photos in front of the Jordan and Salt Lake Temple. It was her first time to those two temple's. I'm glad I could be a part and join her on this amazing adventure.

  We started our morning at 8:30 a.m and finished up at 2:30 p.m
  it was a very fun, filled spiritual day.

letter from a friend.

I love receiving letters, emails, texts from friends and family. Who doesn't right>? It is the best feeling when you get a message because then you know that the person cares or is just checking up on your life. I love it.  I admit I have been slacking on sending letters to a couple people that have truly helped me and have been a great example to me. Well anyways  I received a message in my Face book in-box. To be honest I usually only get junk mail there and never check it. I saw that it was from a good friend from summer. I haven't talked to her since the last time i visited her from the way she treated me. You will understand some point of view after reading her message: 

Sarah,
        I want to say sorry to you. I was so awful to you. I really truly apologize. I was at a low point in my life when you came to visit Ephraim. I was selfish among many other things. I did not deserve the sincere friendship that you offered me. I just basically threw you to the curb and treated you like trash. I honestly don't know what to say to you to ask for your forgiveness for this way I treated you and my disgusting behavior. I hope that one day we can be friends again and that you can forgive me for the way that I acted.

I was shock when I saw a message from her in my in-box and wondering why she sent me something. I had no idea. Reading her message....i started to cry. Her simple apology message met so so much to me. The fact that I had a good friend and thought I lost her as a friend. I'm not a person to show emotion especially in front of people. I feel as if finally now about 6 months later she realizes that she hurt our friendship. It was rude I admit and that was the last time I was in e-town after this incident.  Of- course I am going to forgive her and in the process of writing back to her. She has been a great friend during the summer. We were able to grow as friends and create fun memories. I hope soon that we will be able to go to lunch when she comes up north or when I go to E-town. I feel as if she apologized and I accept her apology. I have realized that in life you need to let the little things go, and move on. I admit I didn't think she would want to be friends with me anymore. It was just a summer friendship. I'm glad she was able to send me this message and express her thoughts and feelings towards that day.

or someone you just met that day.

A compliment goes along way. 

Being a friend creates memories

and last a lifetime.
